Dr. Laffa

This summer has brought on a new trend of Mediterranean restaurants popping up across the city. From Byblos, to S.Lefkowitz, to Rose City Kitchen to Fat Pasha hummus is on the rise across Toronto. Dr. Laffa stands out from the sea of Mediterranean spots with its location in the north end of the city serving up authentic and expertly crafted Middle Eastern classics.

The Vibe:

Dr. Laffa’s location at Dufferin and Steeles is nestled in an unlikely area of industrial businesses and has a quaint small seating area with a fun family atmosphere.

The Food:

The home-run, touch-down, goal scoring item of this spot is their ‘laffa’s’ – a traditional, thin, pita style flat bread.  This light, fluffy chewy style bread is perfect for dipping in some of their signature style hummus’, or stuffing with kebab’s or shwarma.
